About the Role
You own the coordination and execution of Party on Butler's largest, highest-stakes events. This is a senior, demanding role, and we hold a very high bar for it. Please read the full description carefully before applying — we're looking for an experienced events professional who thrives on responsibility and detail. This is a full-time salaried position that comes with a strong health-insurance package. As a salaried manager who oversees staff, this role is not eligible for tips.
What You'll Do
- Run POB's top-tier events end to end — from the first walkthrough to the final teardown.
- Build and hold the master timeline. Coordinate crew, vendors, deliveries, and the client so nothing slips.
- Stay composed and solution-focused on event day, anticipating problems before they happen.
- Manage florals, balloons, backdrops, rentals, and full install logistics.
- Own setup, breakdown, and the quality bar from start to finish.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on events experience that you personally led.
- Real hands-on work with event materials — florals, balloons, backdrops, rentals, and installs.
- A reliable car is required for this role.
- Exceptionally organized and detail-driven — you build the timelines and systems that keep events on track.
- Comfortable with the realities of events — long days, early load-ins, late nights, and weekends in season. Saturdays start at 6:00 AM. If you like going out on Friday nights, this is not the job for you.
- Physically able to be on your feet and active throughout a full install day, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- A genuinely high personal standard — you see a job through until every detail is right.

Party on Butler is Pittsburgh's custom event-decor studio. We design, build, install, and tear down full-scale balloon and decor experiences — arches, towers, backdrops, florals, marquees, and rentals — for the moments people remember.
